August 1, 2010 by the Rector

This sermon by the Rector at the early service on August 1 (the later service was a joint service at Brooks Park with St. Peter’s Lutheran Church) focuses on Jesus’ parable about the rich fool who stored up treasures for his own greed. The sermon addresses our culture that has sometimes focused too much on what was termed Affluenza in the late 1990’s and offers a reflection about generosity instead.
