June 27, 2010 by the Rector

Today’s sermon is based on Psalm 77, in which the psalmist feels both that God had no power and was absent in the midst of the psalmist’s chaos and also that God had been there with hidden footprints. The Rector relates our own experiences of grief and difficulty to the psalm and talks about how when we lose a loved one we seem to be in a country where no one speaks our language. She assures us that this parish family both knows and speaks that language.
