October 17, 2010 by the Rector

The parable of the unjust judge and the widow in Luke’s gospel (Luke 18:1-8) reminds us of how important persistence in prayer is for us and how important “mindfulness” is. The Rector talks of the parallel in Eastern traditions (like Buddhism) of the mindfulness and attentiveness given to prayer and how we can trust in God to hear us as we are mindful of God’s presence.
