fellowship field trip

Fellowship at Christ Church consists of many and varied activities throughout the year. The Fellowship Team (formerly the “Invite and Welcome Ministry team”) is dedicated to offering a spirit of love and support in our parish. We have been told many times that our parish exudes a feeling of friendliness that has a way of making all who visit feel welcome and “at home.”

We offer a morning coffee hour at both our Sunday Services; welcoming all to join us. This gives us the opportunity to share with others about upcoming events, both in our Christian lives and our personal lives. The members of our Christian family come from all walks of life and Christ Church has allowed us to form a bond that speaks “family” in all ways.

This team initiates church functions that help strengthen those bonds. Some events planned for this year include several “Pot Luck” Dinners, a Parish Picnic this summer, a fundraising raffle, an ice cream social / music program and “Game nights” when we play board games or Bridge and have dessert. Members of our ministry team also serve as Greeters on Sundays.

Team Co-Chairs are Betty Decker and Sheila Moss-White
