The Rev. Judith A. Davis PhD

The Rev. Dr. Judith Davis became our rector in September 2008 after she had served for 12 years as rector of Christ Church, Washington Parish on Historic Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. She studied at Yale Divinity School and specialized in Liturgy and Worship, earning two degrees there. She was a university professor in the medical sciences in her first career and has been in ordained ministry for almost 20 years. She has served in local, diocesan and national roles in the Episcopal Church. She enjoys painting watercolors with the Guild of Harwich Artists and is especially interested in the visual arts and the Church.

Joan Kirchner

Joan Kirchner graduated from Houghton College with degrees in both music and business. She subsequently earned a Master’s Degree in Church Music and Organ Performance with distinction from the renowned organ department at Indiana University in Bloomington, and studied privately with Russell Saunders at the Eastman School of Music. In addition to leading the diversified music program at Christ Church, Joan performs throughout the region as a soprano soloist; teaches voice, piano, and flute; and performs on various instruments in concerts and private events.

Kerry Lotti

Parish Administrator

Kerry Lotti joined our staff as Parish Administrator in 2010 and has a wealth of experience in office management as well as early childhood education and has lived on Cape Cod with her family for many years.

Todd Woolley

Sexton

Todd Woolley has served as Sexton and facilities manager for our parish for many years. His family have been a part of the church for a long time and his mother was a leader in the parish. Todd has lived in Harwich for most of his life.

  • Upcoming Events

    Beginning March 8 we will have a Lenten program two days a week. Wednesday mornings in Lent we will focus on the prophetic call to ministry in the themes of Lent and ask questions like “how can I make a difference in today’s world?” We will use reflections by Dan Berrigan and Joan Chittister in a program named “The Prophet in You: Gifts for Prophecy and Transformation.” On Fridays, we will study the text and music of the Fauré Requiem. The class is from 10:30am to almost Noon, and optional Stations of the Cross are at noon.

    Holy Week:
    Palm Sunday services at 8am and 10am and vespers, 4pm
    April 12th, Wednesday Tenebrae at 5:30pm
    April 13th, Maundy Thursday service, 5:30pm
    April 14th, Good Friday services, Noon and 5:30pm
    April 16th, Easter Sunday, 8am and 10am

    The Church Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 2:30pm and by appointment at other times. The Rector is always “on call” to help you. Leave a message on the Church phone or send an email message.
