ALL SAINTS MEMORY GARDEN
Nestled in our courtyard is our All Saints Memory Garden. It is a quiet place where a number of our parishioners and others have their final resting places. We have benches, a flower garden, and an altar where we occasionally celebrate Eucharist as well. We have room for additional interments.
The Memory Garden was established in 1983 and continues to receive cremains for burial. The Memory Garden is open for burial to members of Christ Church and their immediate families. Requests for others will be referred to the Memory Garden Committee. There is a fee of $200 for each plot, to be made at the time a plot is reserved. This fee covers the opening and closing of the plot. Purchase of one or more plots can be made through the Church Office. Permanently sealed cremation urns may be purchased through a funeral home. Any other containers to be used for interment must be approved by the Memory Garden Committee. For uniformity, bronze markers 4” x 6” will be mounted on a 6” x 8” granite block which may be purchased from H. T. Crosby & Son Monuments, Harwich MA. Arrangements for the burial of ashes are made through the Church Office and a committal service may be arranged with the Rector.
Everyone is welcome to come and sit in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoy being surrounded by God, nature, and the saints resting there.
