Outreach
Christ Church supports the work and needs of various outreach organizations on the Cape as well as others nationally and globally. Members offer volunteer hours to a number of these groups.
In 2023, Christ Church donated to the following wonderful organizations:
- The Children’s Center
- Doctors without Borders
- Family Pantry of Cape Cod
- Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod
- Independence House
- National Alliance of Mental Illness of Cape Cod & the Islands
Habitat for Humnity of Cape Cod
Christ Church has been honored to be part of the “Faith Build” home, joining with other Harwich houses of worship to sponsor the construction of a home in Harwich. We look forward to continuing that work when another build is planned for Harwich.
Scholarship Support
Christ Church currently offers two generous scholarships to graduating seniors from Monomoy Regional High School and Cape Cod Tech High School. For information, contact the Church Office (508-432-1787) or the Guidance Department at each school. The deadline is typically in April.
AA
Christ Church is proud to host weekly AA meetings on Saturday evenings at 7:30pm. For more information: https://capecodaa.net/
Cape Abilities
Cape Abilities is just one organization that hosts events in our space. They hold their monthly Friday Night Socials in our welcoming Parish Hall — a great time for all! (See photo at right.)
“Bottoms Up!” Diaper Drive — Twice yearly we collect diapers and wipes for A Baby Center in Hyannis — an organization that provides critical basic baby needs to income eligible families for infants up to age five living on Cape Cod and the Islands.
